Resources

The internet is a powerful medium that has not been effectively harnessed by accounting firms.

We are determined to change that!

Our website is initially a web presence informing people of our services and contact details. However we aim to make this medium far more productive and interactive than that. The universal nature of this site allows our clients access to a myriad of resources and tools they can utilise at their convenience at any time.

This site is more than just a brochure… it’s a multi-functional resource centre for business owners and tax payers alike.

Blog

One of the first initiatives we implemented is our blog. Blogs (a shortened term for web logs) are a useful and popular means of communicating thoughts and inspirations in an internet journal format. The popularity of this format has exploded across the internet with people ‘blogging’ on such a huge variety of topics it would leave your mind spinning!

Within the business sector the power of this web format allows a quick and versatile means of publishing information that is both relevant and useful to readers. Specific topics can be addressed in a quick and easy to read format that is less formal and allows the reader the opportunity to respond (if they wish) through comments.

Dollars & $ense Blog

The Dollars & Sense blog can be accessed through the top navigation panel. For individual taxpayers it covers a huge variety of topics from budgeting, investment property tips, tax time preparation, superannuation information to tax offsets. The list is growing daily. Business owners are not forgotten either. Posts often cover areas such as small business start-up, definitions of terms the ATO love to use, business and market plans, MYOB hints and marketing suggestions.

Topic categories are listed on the blog page to help you find the posts that are of interest to you. The posts are short and easy to read, providing valuable information in bite-sized portions. Please feel free to browse and make comments or give your feedback.

Articles & Other Features

Individual pages on specific topics will be presented within this section covering a myriad of topics relevant to both business owners and individual tax payers. A number of these will be expanded versions of the blog posts giving greater content and information in regards to what has been covered.

There will also be downloadable PDF files, giving a more comprehensive coverage of specific topics, which may be utilised by our clients off-line. In the near future this will extend to podcasts as well as a proposed forum where subjects are covered using full client interaction with the ability to comment, add other relevant information or ask questions.

It is our vision that the professional abilities we have are accessible to our clients in a manner that is both convenient to them and easy to use. When we talk about service… we really mean it!
