Recognising a need for quality professional accounting that was available to all small business and individuals was the driving force behind the establishment of Alan Lewis Accountants.
With many small businesses lumbered with increased legislation, the importance of professional advice and service that was both affordable and reliable was paramount. Just because a business is small should not mean that the resources available to them should be limited!
To this end the proprietors, Alan and Christie Lewis, have committed themselves to delivering a practical and accessible service that best meets the accounting, taxation and business needs of the people of the Central Coast and beyond.
Meet the Team:
Alan – Senior Accountant
Alan has been involved in public practice accounting since the beginning of 2001. He has worked on the Central Coast for all of that time and become familiar with the industry and services that are unique to our regional area.
As a member of the National Institute of Accountants (NIA) and National Tax & Accountants’ Association Ltd (NTAA), Alan is bound to providing a service of the highest professional standard maintaining regular training and keeping abreast of the latest changes regarding taxation, accounting and financial matters.
Alan did his training on the Mid North Coast and completed a post-graduate degree through the University of New England. Continuing on his commitment to maintain a high level of tertiary qualification, Alan recently finished his Masters of Commerce, also through the University of New England.

Christie – Practice Manager
Christie has a long history of public accounting and a passion for small business. She has earned several academic awards relating to accounting and commercial law studies, including the CPA award for Excellence in Accounting Studies. Currently Christie is completing a Diploma in Financial Planning.
Factoring a major role in the practice, Christie’s primary role is in managing the firm and ensuring clients are well-resourced. She also handles payroll services, ASIC compliance, and maintains our extranets, websites, blogs and other online media. Christie is an invaluable resource not just to the practice, but for each client and their business.

Tara – Accountant
Tara gained her experience working her way up through the ranks of another Central Coast firm. She has a strong aptitude for the profession to accompany her accounting qualifications.
Tara assists Alan with client jobflow, to ensure work is completed with accuracy and efficiency.

Dale – Reception/Administration
Dale is front of office and responsible for client communication and administration.
Dale brings over a decade of experience (and a wonderfully warped sense of humour) to the team.

Amanda – Reception/Administration
Amanda will be joining Dale in an administrative role.
Amanda will be completing a Business Administration Traineeship with our firm.

The admin staff are the backbone of office operations and it is a pleasure to welcome both Dale and Amanda to the team!
Jennifer – Office Assistant
Jennifer comes to us with a strong customer service background and client focus. Jennie gained her office experience working in a busy accounting practice while attending TAFE.
Jennifer is often called upon to assist with payroll/superannuation when she is not handling the phones or helping with general office duties.
The Practice
